AlBoeNEWS Launching Politics Feed

INTRODUCING THE NEW AlBoeNEWS Politics Twitter

I posted a poll this on Thursday asking for my followers to vote on a standalone Twitter feed for me to develop to go along with my AlBoeNEWS twitter. I gave the option of politics, sports, crime and entertainment.

I truly have tried to avoid politics as much as possible. It’s so divisive right now and I think it is truly the job of a reporter to report facts. Often times in politics, if the story doesn’t benefit your side, no matter what side you may be on, we as humans have the tendency to think that the reporter isn’t on our side.

I have tried with all my effort to be fair and just report facts over the past 10 years. I have been called both a republican and a democrat hundreds of times over the years, so I guess that evens me out to be moderate? In the end, I am proud that there is a disagreement on my political opinions. It means I am being fair and reporting positive news from all sides, as well as negative news.

I am not trying to alienate any of you in my reporting, but you have chosen politics. So I am going to give this a chance.

Here is how this will work: I will create a separate Twitter feed for political reporting. Some of it will end up being retweeted to AlBoeNEWS but it will all go to the politics feed. I will source in my reporting, as I do with any story I report. These sources will often be mainstream media sources, which you may or may not agree with. This is just going to be an editorial decision so that it will remain as moderate as possible.

I will attempt to summarize the day’s political news in the posts, while giving the opinions of all sides.

If you don’t like the politics reporting, you don’t have to follow the politics feed. It is there for the people who want daily reporting and a nice roundup of what is happening in the world of politics on a daily basis. I will still be reporting on the latest news on AlBoeNEWS and that won’t change. This will just be a side venture for all of you.

That being said, any support you can give would be appreciated as I am trying to grow.

P.S. A lot of you said crime and that is next on my agenda. I have some ideas about that one but want to see how a politics feed does first. Stay tuned.

BREAKING: Outbreak in Texas Consistant with Indulin Exposure

An outbreak of an illness resulting in skin and intestinal issues in Corpus Christi, Texas, is being described by officials as consistent with Indulin AA-86 exposure, according to the Corpus Christi Caller-Times.

The issues, in which at least four people have experienced symptoms, have come after a “back flow issue at the mixing tank,” which occurred on December 7.

Officials say water samples are being tested.

Warnings about the water quality in the city have been ongoing since Thursday.

How You Can Support AlBoeNEWS by Shopping Online

Folks,

There is a new way to support us here at AlBoeNEWS. We have a deal with Amazon that if you shop on Amazon using the banner at the top of the page, or the Amazon search field, a small portion of what you spend will go towards our expansion. I work hard on this site and the Twitter. I easily put in 40 hours a week, with many weeks being much more, to only make a dollar or two a week at best.

We pretty much all shop online. It’s become the new normal. If you have something you want to buy online anyway, please consider using the Amazon search function or banner above and buying using that link. It would really support us staying alive and it wouldn’t require anything else than what you usually do.

If you are using an AdBlocker, please consider disabling it long enough to use the Amazon banner or Amazon search field at the top of the page.

I truly appreciate all your support in helping keep me going. I believe 2017 can be a very successful year for us, but I need your help.

Thank you,

Al Boe
